I'm a professional game developer by day, working on indie projects by night. A huge fan of video games (especially RPG’s), history, old-fashioned samurai movies and fantasy. I’m also the guy you might bump into in a forest in the early hours practicing with a sword.
I believe video games are also a form of art, and the main reason I love being an indie developer is that it presents a whole bunch of different challenges, and so it never gets boring. And that’s important to me, because I’m not the kind of developer who’s only interested in coding: I love the designing and story writing aspect of this profession just as much. But the absolute best thing about this is the chance to work with people who really love what they are doing.
I've joined DeviantArt because I’m a visual type of guy, and this sure is the right place to find inspirational artworks. I even managed to find a new member for our studio, a very talented artist here on DA!
The presence of fellow developers was also a pleasant surprise for me, as it’s nice to see the work of people with similar interests.
